BIO/CONTACT
John Ianniello is a mixed media painter primarily using acrylics and print materials. He was born in 1959 in New York and has been As a child, John would draw anything he saw on television, from the characters in The Wizard Of Oz to the animals he saw while watching Wild Kingdom. His love of art continued to grow throughout his childhood. He went on to study Fine Art at Nassau Community College as well as NYC’s School Of Visual Arts. John began his art career as an entry level graphic designer at age 22. Not comfortable with the corporate atmosphere, he decided to persue his own mural painting business. His career as an independent artist was very rewarding and took him all over the United States. He worked full time until he turned 62 and decided to spare himself the aches and pains of doing work on scaffolding and ladders.
John returned to creating art on canvas in the comfort of his own studio. John has come full circle and his current canvases are more colorful and fun than his earlier works. After decades spent making art and being commissioned to create for “others”, he now creates art for himself, to share with others. John Ianniello has resided in Palm Beach County, FL for more than 25 years and is very active volunteering for a local pet rescue as he generally enjoys the company of animals more than he does of most people.
